But without critical funding to programs that assess public health impacts from natural disasters, to help clean up pollution, and monitor life-threatening bacteria flooding our waterways, the EPA’s ability to do its job is under direct attack.
Climate-fueled natural disasters threaten our lives, livelihoods, and infrastructure. And it will worsen if we undercut disaster response programs at the EPA as well as the agency’s ability to cut the carbon pollution fueling this extreme weather.
